Pura Luhur Uluwatu

Luhur means “something of divine origin”and ulu means “land’s end” while watu means “rock” in Balinese, aptly describing this inspiring temple. It is one of the six most important temples in Bali. One of the 9 directional temples that is thought to protect from evil spirits. You can enjoy its incredible view of the Indian Ocean while perched on the edge of it’s steep cliffs.
