Pura Tanah Lot

This temple is known  by the locals as the “land in the middle of the sea” as it sits off the coast on a majestic rock. Dating back to 15th century, it is believed to be the work of the priest Nirartha. Legend has it, after spending a night on this rock at sea , he instructed the local fishermen to build a temple there. As one of the most popular temples sites, get there early.  Although the sunsets there are amazing,  be prepared not to be the only on in Bali to know.
